Another local landscape

This is Paradise Pond at Smith College.  I have never been there and noticed it on the internet while browsing.  It was just after painting the Old Mill waterfall so I suppose that might have been why I was inspired to paint it.  The painting is a 16x20 acrylic on stretched canvas.

a great place to visit

Here is a painting of The Old Mill Inn, located in Hatfield, Ma.  In addition to being a beautiful place to stay the owners are now offering local artwork, including mine, for sale at affordable prices.  The last two post paintings as well as this one and others are now on sale at this location.  Check out their site   @oldmillinn.ma

covered bridge

Nothing says New England like a covered bridge.  This is the one in Stanley Park in Westfield, Ma.  A little breath of spring for our unusually cool April.

Gardening

This 3D acrylic is 22x34, and has actual gardening tools attached to the board with a paper mache technique. I have fun creating sculpture like paintings, and like painting over the forms as if they were not there, creating interesting effects. This one is unframed, I am hoping one will be made soon.

Christmas paintings

My dad wanted some paintings to give as Christmas gifts, and here is what he got. Again the beautiful frames were made by my talented husband :) * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
The photography is not my best, but I was pressed for time and did not do a retake, sorry. Working on several new projects, lots of snow days = painting time!
Maybe I should paint a few spring landscapes, and mother nature might follow suit, one can dream...
