Winter in Purple
Nearly monotone winter landscape. Twelve inches square. An acrylic on stretched canvas. I like restricting my palette, particularly with landscapes. This one was inspired by a claendar photo. To me it looked lonely but peaceful, and with all the wild weather I suppose that's a change. There's a yellow/orange landscape to come, I usually do a hot and a cold at the same time. Maybe I need the balance :)
